the former was excellent value for money in a prime location but the later offerred me room of lesser quality than i had booked and the owner frowned on my insisting a good room ifinally went back to hotel montreal and these guys were extremely nice .

Rooms, not large but amply sized with flat screen TV's a nice sized, clean and modern bathroom with what seemed a double sized shower with sliding glass doors - like heaven on earth and at half the price and yet to be matched (while still traveling and writting this).

The location is good too, with the hotel very close to the station on a pleasant street (though a little noisy from about 10p until midnight with the nearby bars, though closing the shutters on the window took care of that)and within easy walking distance from the centre.

Also we were there on a Saturday night and the noise from the bar just round the corner was pretty bad (with the window closed it was tolerable) Florence is an expensive place but the Montreal on balance gave good value for money, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful

De manière générale, l'hôtel était tout à fait convenable, le personnel de l'accueil était trés sympathique et accueillant. Cependant, le petit déjeuner n'est pas trés varié et il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix. Les chambres sont fort petites et la décoration n'est pas terrible.

A deux pas de la gare et du centre ville. Tres bon accueil, beaux sourires et serviables, confort correct. Chambre tres bien isolée de la rue mais pas vraiment du couloir ! Eviter le petit dejeuner sans charme et prenez le a l exterieur. Beaucoup d hotels du meme genre dans la meme rue. Tranquille donc.
